GETTING AROUND

Walking is the preferred means of transportation for most of our guests. The Manathai Village is located in the heart colorful ancient city of Chiang Mai, a short distance from the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and surrounded by an array of day and night quality shopping and food and beverage venues that offer a variety of activities and entertainment.

Manathai Village is only a 20 minutes drive from Chiang Mai International Airport.

If you prefer other modes of transportation your Concierge will be happy to make all the necessary arrangements:

Taxi:
Taxis are metered and most are air-conditioned which will make your ride more comfortable and a good option for longer trips.

Tuk Tuk:
For short distances a tuk tuk is fine and can be fun. However, for anything longer than 30 minutes you may want to use a more comfortable form of transportation.

Songtaews:
Songtaews ,means 2 rows and are Chiang Mai's bus and taxi service rolled into one. These are red pickup trucks with a canopy and twin rows of bench seating. Like tuk tuks, they are fine and can be fun, however, for anything longer than 30 minutes you may want to use a more comfortable form of transportation

Cars For Hire:
For doing some real exploring this may be a good option. Cars with drivers are also available. Please check with the hotel staff, who will be happy to assist you with reserving a car from a reputable company. A Thai or International Drivers License is required.
