Manathai Resort Phuket, situated in the heart of Surin Beach, is located approximately 20 kilometers from the Phuket International Airport, a short 30-minute drive away. Surin Beach itself can be easily covered on foot. If you prefer not to walk the resort staff will be very happy to arrange for a taxi, tuk tuk or a private vehicle for a few hours or a full day. Some examples of the variety of transportation include:
Taxis: Taxis are metered and most are air-conditioned which will make your ride more comfortable and a good option for longer trips.
Tuk Tuk: For short distances a tuk tuk is fine and can be fun. However, for anything longer than 30 minutes you may want to use a more comfortable form of transportation.
Cars For Hire: For doing some real exploring this may be a good option. Cars with drivers are also available. Please check with the resort staff, who will be happy to assist you with reserving a car from a reputable company. A Thai or International Drivers License is required.
